Below is a list of trusted organizations currently providing relief to Appalachian areas impacted by Hurricane Helene. Most are locally-based non-profits. Some are spontaneous crowdfunded efforts to support certain groups, like local farmers. Others are small emergency response organizations from across the country that have traveled here to help. Please consider donating to these organizations before large, bureaucratic boondoggle NGOs in order to ensure your entire donation reaches the people who need it most, and soonest. I will keep updating this list as things develop.
