I’ve been writing about humanity’s descent into technocratic feudalism since I started this Substack in 2020, but it’s been over twelve years since I first realized the probability of this global shift and the need for doing whatever could be done to prevent it.
Back then, I started seriously thinking about, researching, and advocating for viable alternatives to the establishment systems and institutions. Cryptocurrencies, private cities, seasteads, mutual aid societies, etc.
The problem, for so long, was that few others seemed to be interested in preventing it. Most of my fellow travelers in the decentralization circle were anarchists like myself, or crypto enthusiasts, or libertarian “conspiracy nuts.” (It’s hard to use that term with a straight face anymore.) Basically, we were people perceived as “fringe”. People who other people wouldn’t listen to.
But that’s because other people hadn’t yet felt the pain yet. They hadn’t yet experienced the claustrophobic feeling of the walls of the world closing in on them, and their future, their children’s futures, their great-great-grandchildren’s futures, disintegrating before their eyes.
The pandemic changed that. Now nearly everyone has felt this pain, whether or not they are yet capable of acknowledging its source. Plenty of people have opened their eyes to the mechanisms behind the closing in of the world’s walls. We who recognize the existence of an elite agenda to enslave humanity are becoming less and less “fringe” by the minute, even if the media still portrays us that way.
But with so many new minds on board, there’s a lot of collective head-scratching as folks try and figure out what to do about it. And the situation is dire. These newly minted conscientious objectors have joined our cause at the last minute. Or, to put it another way, they have joined it just in time.
The elite conspiracy has been building for decades, meticulously and systematically preparing for this moment. Leaving aside all arguments of whether the conditions were orchestrated and to what degree, we can say for certain that the current system is designed to benefit the elite and tends, eventually, despite occasional obstacles, to attain elite goals at the expense of everyone else.
We can also know for certain that the elite want to eliminate the possibility of occasional obstacles by seizing complete control over all aspects of human life and interaction—from healthcare choices to spending habits to travel opportunities. We can know this for certain because they have told us so, repeatedly, in their own words.
What we need is a crossroads: a point of choosing between the techno-feudalist future that we are being herded into, or a decentralized future where freedom is universal and responsibility is distributed, so that no one person or shadowy group can seize control over all.
Anarchists and voluntaryists are thoroughly familiar with this type of societal structure, at least theoretically. But it’s time for us to take up the challenge of bringing it out of theory and into manifest reality. Luckily for us, there are tons of people now thinking about decentralization and searching for ways to implement it. People who just a year or two ago would have scoffed and called us fringe, or worse. But now they’re on our side, and are ready to voluntarily participate in the building of freer alternatives. Let us welcome them.
There is little time to build the alternatives that will make this crossroads possible. If we do not build them, there will be no crossroads, and the elite will have made humanity’s choice for us. Time is of the essence. What we each choose to do over the coming months may mean the difference between a very long dystopia and a bright and resilient future.
For my part, I’m writing about the problems and the solutions, but most importantly, about the inner growth needed to withstand these dystopian influences.
In my local community, I’m networking with folks to implement food sovereignty and mutual aid solutions should the need arise.
And of course, I’m extending my support to anarchists, voluntaryists, and “extremists” all over the globe. If you stand squarely on the side of freedom but know you could be doing more, if you have the deep desire to pour your energy and creativity into this most meaningful endeavor, but are unsure where to start or how to keep going, I’m here for you. Extremists Being Awesome is here for you.
Consider joining our group for radical productivity, accountability, and encouragement, plus incomparable mutual support in your pro-freedom endeavors. I’ve still got a Black Friday offer going until midnight on Monday, at the lowest price I’ll ever offer EBA membership subscription.
But even if EBA is not for you—maybe your schedule or location prevents you from attending the meetings—I invite you to reach out. I believe that every one of us has a piece to the puzzle of how to unfuck the future, and if I can help you figure your piece out and how it connects to other people’s pieces, I’m delighted to do so.
Let the Great Unfuckening commence.
Extremely,
Starr
P.S.
A few important pieces of content have come across my desk recently on the topic of humanity’s looming inflection point. These articles and interviews are too good not to share, so here they are.
The very real elite conspiracy to enslave humanity
This interview lays out the threat in no uncertain terms. It begins with a discussion of the sinister web of elite criminals connected with Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, based on Ms. Webb’s exhaustive research on that topic. But soon the interview branches off into a conversation about the technofeudalist agenda and the looming crossroads at which we—the human race—find ourselves. The fact that this war against humanity is spiritual in nature is not glossed over. Whitney Webb is brilliant in this interview, and as Glenn says in the introduction, this is probably the most important interview he has ever done.
People are thinking about how to decentralize
It seems that all over the world, people are giving serious thought to how to disrupt institutions and decentralize power and responsibility for a brighter future. Dr. Robert Malone has published his thoughts on implementing decentralization here.
EBA member Bretigne Shaffer on parallel solutions
I shared this video last month after I posting it on YT, but I think it wants another share. This interview I conducted with author, podcaster, health freedom advocate, and EBA member Bretigne Shaffer is chock full of examples for how to replace the corrupt institutions with models predicated on human autonomy. Please watch it if you haven’t already.
I think we should be building up our paper rolodexes of people we KNOW we can trust, all across the country. The most likely scenario is that we will need to clump up a bit, and I know that my region is likely to be dangerous for lovers of liberty.
