Peace be upon this house
and upon the souls herein
A peace that beacons ever out
and billows back again

Peace be at our table
In our speech and in our thoughts
A peace so deep and stable
It never need be sought

Lord let it surround us
and cushion every step
It settles in around us
and sinks into our depths

In clear skies or in thunder
In famine or in feast
In every woe and wonder
Lord let us be peace
