Two extremists fleeing Florida
This dispatch is a call for assistance from the greater extremist community! Harry Felker, member of Extremists Being Awesome and BFF to Dispatches from Dystopia, and his friend and long-term housemate Donna need to flee Florida to escape cumbersome regulations and save Donna’s life. I know that was a really weird run-on sentence, but this shit is critical and we ain’t got time for my normal phase of getting stuck in revisions!
Donna is a medical cannabis user. Her medicine has not only transformed her quality of life, but it saves her life every day. But the state of Florida, even though it has medical cannabis laws in place, has let Donna's case slip through the cracks because the type of cannabis preparation she needs is not covered by the legislation. That means she must risk her freedom every day in order to save her life. Donna and Harry have decided enough is enough, and they are planning a move to a state that is friendlier to Donna's medical needs. And they could use your help!
