I know the episode they are referring to, because the basic premise is similar, social credit score totalitarianism. The BM Episode was more to the tune of anyone could get your score docked, maliciously. This is a cute story, if you have the opportunity, the episode of BM was an eerily relatable one.
I might check it out. I have enjoyed most of the Black Mirror episodes I've seen. It's hard though because I only allow myself to watch two episodes of shows a week, so the competition is stiff!

It does indeed vibe with BM's "Nosedive," but I think it also vibes with Ray Bradbury's "The Pedestrian." This is intended as a compliment!
