This is the third dispatch in a sort of unofficial series about the global paradigm shift I strongly feel we are heading into. The previous two segments dealt with the worldwide turning point on the mythic/spiritual and a social/historical aspects. This time, we’ll drill down into the personal/psychological and ask ourselves: if these massive, world-shaping changes are really about to go down, how can we each best support and channel this evolutionary energy toward a positive outcome?
In the first installment, Could the World Be About to Turn? I discussed turning points and the importance of keeping the heart pure to ensure a beneficial emergence into the new paradigm.
The second segment, Revolution is in the Stars, dealt with some historical analogues to our current turning point and the uncanny astrological similarities between those times and our own, specifically, the rare Pluto-in-Aquarius transit that has just begun for the first time since the late 1700s.
I cover many of the uncannily similar events that have occurred during Pluto-in-Aquarius in the podcast episode above. But just for a brief recap, previous Pluto-in-Aquarius periods (which occur about every quarter-millennia and last 20-25 years) have coincided with the American and French Revolutions, the Protestant Reformation, the Great Schism, and the Constantinian conversion of the Roman Empire. Once you get a feel for the type and magnitude of the world-shaping revolutions that occur in these windows, it’s hard to think of revolutions of the same type and magnitude that haven’t occurred in one of them.
It’s fascinating to note that the last time Pluto visited Aquarius (starting in 1777), we hadn’t even discovered Pluto yet. But the time before that (1532-1553), it put into motion the very revolution that would eventually lead to our ability to discover it. In 1543, Copernicus published On the Revolutions of the Heavenly Spheres, which I’m sure Pluto appreciated even though it came too early for his inclusion. This publication unofficially kicked off the Scientific Revolution.
It’s only when we take a bird’s eye view of history that we begin to see an order emerging out of the chaotic centuries. I am convinced that even though human events in the narrow view often seem extremely messy and dire, they are always building on themselves, pursuing evolution.
Pluto is the planet of death and rebirth. It exposes what lies in shadow and challenges the status quo of the topics associated with whatever sign it travels through. Aquarius is associated with freedom, technology, groups of people, and humanitarianism. We can see from previous instances that Pluto in Aquarius highlights corruption and brings decentralization to old, entrenched power structures, and forges a path for walking away from the collective old way of doing things.
Apart from its being a rare astrological event, the thing that I think is so special about this particular entry of Pluto into Aquarius is that since we now know about Pluto and can see historically how it expresses itself in its Aquarian sojourn, we’re in a unique position in all of human history to lean into and cooperate with the revolutionary energy that demands a total reassessment and reimagination of how we relate to authority and how we organize society.
Now, this is just the early stages. Apart from a brief retrograde later this year, Pluto’s making his home in Aquarius until 2044. So we have some time to align ourselves consciously with the changes that are kicking off. And since each individual's life is a small contribution to what exists overall, we can start out by reassessing and reimagining how we organize our personal lives. Because, like I said in my last video, it really could go either way.
Questions to ask:
What are my commitments? Are they aligned with who I am, who I want to be, and the future I would like to create?
What has been my highest value for the past decade or so? Is this value truly valuable to me, and have I been interpreting it correctly, or have I been fooling myself?
What value(s) do I want to center my life around, going forward? How can I re-organize my life to best support my embodiment of these values? Hint: Beware of confusing your true values (the values you practice and embody) with mouth values (the values you accept emotionally/intellectually, but do not live). One of the easiest ways to clearly determine your true values is to look at how you spend your time and money.
How have I been getting my needs met? Have I been surrendering my personal sovereignty, confusing true needs with false needs, or behaving tyrannically over others in my life?
What gifts have I failed to appreciate or develop in my life? And are there any personal responsibilities I have been neglecting or ceding to external authority? Is there any area in my life where I have become a liability to others?
What area of my life, or what dimension of my psyche, is ripe for (r)evolution?
The changes are going to happen, but how they happen and how much of a struggle the process is will depend in large part on how consciously we approach this turning point. Let’s get crystal clear on our long-term intentions this year.

In times of real-world dystopia, dissenters must not surrender to fear and delusion, but become active protagonists in the story of restoration and realignment. The Great Reset, technocratic agendas, mass delusion, and economic insanity will create outer crises, but they can’t crush the protagonist’s spirit.
As in all good stories, the path will be difficult, with many obstacles along the way. And like all heroes, the dystopian survivor will need to develop his character in response to each struggle. Only in this way can he gain the strength he’ll need for the final battle.
By devoting ourselves to inner growth and outer integrity, we hasten dystopia’s end and acquire the skills and qualities that will be needed for rebuilding.
How to Survive Dystopia (With Your Humanity Intact) is a guide to the hero’s journey through the dystopian landscape.

My birth chart is awash in Pluto. I think that's why I feel the intensity of these times acutely but more with anticipation than anxiety.
Really enjoyed listening to the podcast and hearing your encouraging views on these e/revolutionary times . We don’t know how it will turn out , but we must believe and act as if we are capable of winning 💗
